A well researched and engaging book. Tougias really draws you not only into what happened on the Can Do, but also into the rescue efforts of the coast guard cutters that were out there in the Blizzard of '78. He also takes the time to show the aftermath of the storm and the effects that it had on those involved or waiting for their loved ones. I cried at the end - and for me, that's something.

I thoroughly recommend this book. I read it in a few days because I just couldn't put it down. If you love the sea and are amazed by the courageous men and women who risk their lives on it, this book is for you.
