This is a beautiful and exciting story of Biblical fiction concerning the heart-wrenching, but triumphant, story of Job. The research done by the author helped form truly authentic and plausible details to fill in, but not distort, the Biblical account. This is not an easy read, with the many characters and details, but it is worth the little bit of extra concentration it might take to read it. I'm hoping to re-read it in the future to get some of the pictures more firmly in my mind. If you enjoy Biblical fiction, you will want to read Love Amid the Ashes.
