This is a 1972 book. Nevertheless, the pictures are so vivid and the message so clear. This boy (Archie) is planning on bringing the cat to the neighborhood pet show. He looks everywhere for the cat without success. Archie doesn't despair. He thinks of a very original mascot to bring to the pet show (most certainly he is a very positive boy!)
