I was sceptical that this could live up to the Thursday Murder Club but it was a true delight. I really did laugh out loud and very much enjoy the time I spend with Judith, a 70 something crossword puzzle creator and her new friends. Becks, the vicar's wife, and Suzie, the local dog walker, pretty much have knowledge of the whole town between the two of them. Good writing, thought-provoking mystery, and a dose of high jinks made this a great read for me.
