Kinda reminds me of James Patterson's Maximum Ride series. Semi-genetically engineered kids being perpetually chased by bad guys trying to use them for their own gains. The only real differences are the age of the kids - Max's group is a little younger AND Chloe's group is more supernatural (werewolf, witch, necromancer) than Max's (bird hybrids). If you like Chloe's adventures, you will probably also like Max's. Give the first book in the series a try - [book:The Angel Experiment|13152].
I enjoyed this installment but thought the werewolf change sequence went on a little too long and was boring not exciting. The further adventures of Chloe, Derek, Simon and Tori should be interesting. It seems to be that Simon and Chloe are expected to get together but something tells me it's gonna be Derek and Chloe.
