Unfortunately, the cover is the most exciting thing about this book. A clumsily done romantic suspense story that (spoiler) has not one, but TWO villans running about--psycho stalker and a businessman turned bad. The heroine spends inordinate amounts of time, and ink, and pages dithering over getting together with her former one-night stand, because they 'know' it was really a realtionship, even though it was just a night. Along with the dithering, she constantly swings back and forth between finding him alternately annoying and amusing, succumbing to temptation only to be 'saved' in the nick of time by the appearance of an elderly relative or pet. The elderly relative? That would be the former movie star great aunt, who gave it all up to raise the heroine and her brother, and is now reduced to playing the role of batty old auntie with a fetish for quoting random movie lines and dispensing wisdom to the heroine. Although I have not read the previous work of this author, apparently there is another book dealing with some of the other characters of this story who also apparently faced psychostalkers (don't know about businessmen gone bad). This made me dislike this story even more--not only was it clumsy and cliched, but the author just recycled the plot from the previous book.
