Sookie always finds herself in a hell of a lot of bloodly situtaions and this book is no different. With a final resolution of the Vamipire Victor and his pathetic regeme, we are led into a whole other-worldly set of issues. Ths book seems to try and tie up the Sookie fae connection. It's failing miserable with her relationship with Eric, but I think it's supposed to. Though I really beleive that she loves Eric, Sook really seems to be coming to terms with being fed up with dead bodies falling at her feet.

I wish this book had taken a different direction with my beloved characters. There is no way to tell what will happen, and no wishful thinking into the next book. She left Eric floundering after his confessed eternal love for her. I think I'm pissed that this was a weakness written in by Harris to carry us to the next book. It's unlike Sookie not to speak her mind. And this one flubbed.
