Elena was orphaned when her journalist father disappeared while working on a story. She lived with the Konnikov family until her best friend Vladimir Konnikov asked her to marry him and travel to the USA where he was slated to play professional hockey. For the past six years, they've had a marriage of convenience.

Now Vlad wants to have a real marriage like his friends in the Bromance Book Club. But Elena says she is planning on returning to Russia to become a journalist and learn what happened to her father. When Vlad is injured during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Elena moves in to take care of him. Their close quarters make for some awkward moments between them. When his buddies in the Bromance Book Club learn that Vlad wants to save his marriage, they pull out all stops to help him.

I liked this book almost as much as the first book in the series. Between Vlad's buddies and a group of women calling themselves "The Loners", everyone is offering their opinion of what Vlad and Elena must do to save their marriage. While this is going on, Vlad is writing his own romance book with characters that resemble himself and Elena. We get to read the book while he is working on it. Now he has to figure out how to give it a Happily Ever After ending. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
