A sweet story of a couple that find a young boy on their porch with a note asking that they take care of him until they return. The boy doesn't speak, but has his own way of communicating. They discover he is talented in music, art and has a way with animals. There comes a day when they have to let him go and they begin to take in foster children to help with their pain. It is somewhat bittersweet, but mostly sweet. A quick read that is enjoyable.
