I almost passed this book up because of the cover (i'm sometimes one of "those people") but the snyopsis grabbed me and i'm glad it did. This was a fun read.
It's 1940 and Fance has fallen into the hands of the German army. Three school boys have become secret friends with a German soldier and they begin a game of who is "THE GOOD LIAR". A dangerous game considering whom they are playing with. The book is listed for 9 to 12 but I'm somewhere way past 12, and enjoyed it so I believe it could be enjoyed by all and not be considered to adolescent.
