This book is well written and intriguing. I almost did not finish it since it is set in San Francisco and is very much into the homosexual, prostitution, cross-dressing, SM, stuff. That is just not what I want to read. I love murder mysteries and was told this was a good one. In some ways it really is. The main character is great. The story is told well. Just not my cup of tea.
