Angel is scarred on the inside and out. Living in Fools Gold has been good for him. It reminds him of the kind of town he grew up in and he wants to get more involved with the community. When he sets his sights on Taryn the chemistry is palpable. Taryn has a past not even her ex-husband knows about. She has trust issues because of her past and is pretty sure she isnt capable of love.
Its no secret that I love this town and the folks that live there. This series has stolen me away from my family time and time again. This book was equally as wonderful. Angel and Taryn have heat and humor and their story was hard to set down. Both of them have relationship issues for very different reasons and I found myself tearing up over and over again.
I cant wait to read the next books in this series, I met a lady and little girl in this book that I hope has her chance at a happily ever after soon.
