Book Review of Love Finds You in Lahaina, Hawaii

Love Finds You in Lahaina, Hawaii
Helpful Score: 1

This was a unique Love Finds You book because a true well known person in Hawaii (Princess Kaiulani) who was well researched by the author actually wrote a great fictional story that sounds like it could certainly be true. It was pretty incredible and had beautiful tie-ins with faith in God and a love for friends that God gives to people. It teaches us to trust in God and depend on Him in times of joy and times that are hard.

This is a combination of two love stories as well or at least needing to wait on the Lord for love. You have Sandi who is a journalist/author in the early 1970's dealing with separation from her husband. . .not normal separation, but the fact that her husband was MIA in Vietnam War and it had been a few years of her waiting for his return. She meets Hannah, a very old woman who knew Kaiulani, and was her closest friend. She tells the story and gives letters and things to Sandi so that she can decipher the story of love and secret in the family.

It was very enjoyable.
