I hate these kinds of stories. The girl with the unrequited love/crush who is suddenly seen and takes a chance (usually a fling) and expects the hero to fall in love at the drop of a hat. Regardless, I was rooting for Natalie right up until she allowed the ex-wife to get in her head space. Then, she gave up. Had not faith or trust in him. It was all about her timetable. You been crushing on Jonathan for so long and you expected a week fling to make him fall in love with you just like that. No patience. Jonathan on the other had I love him, i understood his reasoning. The sense of not trusting your instincts and believing that someone you love could hurt you and made you think those things about yourself. He deserved better. However, he still should have called after Natalie left the resort to see if she made it home and if the crisis at work was resolved. It was the gentlemanly thing to have done.
