I liked this book. The story is pretty original. The "beta" hero is not handsome and he is a cripple, but he is very smart and caring. I did not like the heroine so much; she seemed too self-absorbed at times. The way that their friendship grows into a loving relationship is very realistic. If you like a lot of passion and sensuality between the lead couple, then this may not be for you, though.
