This is the creepiest book I have read in quite awhile. It's hard to put down. But I also loved the writing. As creepy as it is, there is humor here and there as our protagonist tells his childhood experiences from a kindergartner/first-grader perspective that I found delightful even as I was terrified for him. It's a clever execution. Fun reading!
