This novel is an amazing insight upon the life of man, his family, and his journey through life from the eyes of his best friend: his pet dog, Enzo. Stories are often written to shed light on a forgotten or overlooked perspective. This novel is a masterpiece which skillfully and gracefully allows the reader to see the world as Enzo does. To see and listen to events in the world, the day to day life of a man and his family, without the ability to communicate as effectively as his master. The love expressed by all parties is exquisite and pure. A relationship between a human and dog has never been so realistically illustrated or humanly portrayed. This novel will give you strength when you need it most, break your heart when you least expect it, and bring joyful tears with laughter and smiles. Enzo and Dennis master the art of racing in the rain, side by side, man and dog, friend and friend.
