Interesting premise. Every person in Heart has been alive for many lifetimes. Each time someone is reincarnated, they bring with them all their memories and experience from previous lives. Death is not seen as final.
Until one day when the tower goes dark......
10 years later Ana is born. She is a Newsoul, or maybe a Nosoul. No one is quite sure what to think.....except Cianna did not reincarnate.
In the Range that surrounds Heart there are dragons, trolls, slyphs and other monsters that prey on the humans. The white walls of Heart protect the humans from the monsters. The walls have a heartbeat that comforts every person living there - except for Ana. They creep her out and make her feel uncomfortable.
Many questions still linger at the end of the book. I'm hoping for a sequel!
