First thing you need to know---this is a zombie story and not my kind of reading

this is the first book by Carey that I've tried and I don't know if I'll try another if this is what he writes all the time

the story is overly long, right at 400 pages and it just isn't good enough for that length as it is the same thing over and over after you get past page 150, so I basically lost interest by page 200

I'd say the glowing reviews are by ones that like the syfy aspect of it and zombie stories and neither is for me
