I was giving the chance to read this book from the author. I was intrigued by this story from the beginning of reading it. I was honestly shocked that the booked kept my attention, normally I wouldn't read fantasy type books but, this one kept me reading. Marisa a young girl who just lost her father was pulled into a storm and taking into a completely different world where she meet Darien who was royalty. Reading about their journey back to his home and him trying to keep her safe was amusing. My only negative was the ending, I felt that the cliffhanger was a bit much and left me wondering what had really happened. I really wish the author would have ended the story after Darian was told about the journey. Besides that, I think it was an interesting book and I will read Carnelian Tranny once it's released next year.
