Vanessa-Ann's My Grandmother Taught Me to Crochet
reviewed on

With all original patterns and no ripple aghans or garish granny squares, this book is a delight to read as well as a great source of unique crochet patterns. Finished items are photographed in beautiful settings of complimentary antiques. Patterns include lovely padded pictures frames, lace runners, lamp shades, pillow covers, lace sheers, delicate purses, Christmas decorations, unique crochet appliques on quilts, and many others. Media include cotton thread, wool yarn, and ribbons, as well a a variety of fabric backings and bindings. The last 3 pages of the book include some instructions and a list of abbreviations for patterns.
