No doubt a solid book by Grisham, but not necessarily one of his best. He once again is not only telling a wonderful story, but trying to educate the reader on issues facing our society. What I really like about this book is its insight into how hard lawyers work and what they have to trade in order to be a partner in a firm. No doubt they will be heavily compensated, but what a price to pay! In addition, Grisham does a good job describing the plight of the homeless and how they are caught on the edge of society where they have no advocates and can be easily abused. Great story with many twists, especially with the intense court case that is the center of the book.
