"At the helm: the talking, holographic head of Ayn Rand in a hurricane lamp..." -- from the back cover
A very odd, very good book. Ring-tailed lemus? Check. Mutant great white shark? Check. Tower of Babel? Being built... Figuring out what these things have to do with each other? A lot of fun.
Also, despite the title, this isn't a trilogy. In some ways similar in oddity to the Illuminatus Trilogy, but to me, easier to understand.
