FBI Special Agent Macy Crowe hurries to Texas when she learns her father has been beaten and murdered. She's determined to find who killed him; but her investigation is cut short when she is injured by a hit and run driver. Texas Ranger Mitchell Hayden is working the Crowe murder case when he learns of Macy's injuries. Upon visiting her in the hospital, he is shocked to see she looks exactly like Dr. Faith McIntyre, the County Medical Examiner and the woman he has been seeing for the past few months. Faith is shocked to learn that she has a twin. She knew she was adopted, but her mother would never give her the details. Now she must dig for the secrets of the past which may tie to a series of disappearances.

This story had a lot of twists and turns. Someone has a lot of secrets and they'll do anything to cover them up. I listened to the audiobook and found it very hard to walk away from. I can't wait to read the next book. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
