Book Review of The Spinster Brides of Cactus Corners

reviewed on + 6 more book reviews

I typically enjoy historical, Christian fiction. I love learning about places, lifestyles and events as I am entertained by the characters and the plot. The setting for this book was Cactus Corner, Arizona in the 1860s. Four different authors tell a story of a group of friends who are involved in helping the local orphanage. The authors did a good job of describing the setting. My only problem with that part is each author basically says the same thing. Also the some of the physical descriptions of the characters seem to be repetitive. Was a fun easy to read book but a bit too predictable.
