I've got to be honest, I was a little apprehensive about reading the sequel to The Edge of Never. I felt that since the first novel was perfect, why write a second one? But I'm so glad Redmerski did.
This book was not what I was expecting and I kind of liked that.
I felt when I was reading that Cam's accident and her moment of weakness would dominate the novel but it didn't and I liked how the author evolved their story and made everything come back full circle.
I liked the things that other people didnt. The fact that they didn't stay in New Orleans and that they named their daughter after the original baby. I liked the second roadtrip and Andrew and Cam's relationship all together.
I felt that you could really see their love shine through. It wasn't nauseating and it had real issues and problems that I think couples really go through. I liked how they strayed outside of the norm and didn't want to fall into the trap that most everybody does with their life.
I also liked that towards the end, it was like Cam, Andrew, and Lily were actually talking to me, the reader. I felt like I could hear their voices talking to me about how to really live my life while they were trying to live theirs.
Everything about this book was great.
