If you like Reilly books, you'll like this one. Every chapter ends on a cliff hanger. don't try to read it before going to sleep or you'll find yourself still up at 3 AM.
I wouldn't say they were based on reality as the feats that Scarecrow perform are almost always superhuman, but if you want excitement and action, this is the guy to read.
