This is an excellent book with lots of threads that seem unconnected until closer to the end. The characters are very real & it helped greatly to the understanding of the book to read the author's notes in the back. This book is more than just diving; there's romance, smuggling, sabotage, struggles to find faith & lots more. I think this is one of Morrisey's better books.
