MY SCIENCE PROJECT is an off the wall story about an introverted teen-ager who finds an odd artifact in a junkyard. The object happens to be an alien device designed to remove the pesky Solar System from the universe so an alien civilization can use the area for something useful.
Several other high-schooler stereotypes are also involved, and if the greasers, the geeks, the bookworms and the motorheads can't work together, it's 'Good-by Earth!'
A movie was also made from this novel, but I have no idea if the movie followed the script closely, or if the film was any good.
