The Royal Mess is book three in the Alaskan Royals trilogy. I'm not sure why I enjoyed these books; the story moves too quickly, there is little character development and the Royal family can be a little annoying. Yet, I enjoyed them enough to read the whole series and find I want to read MaryJanice's vampire series. I guess it's nice to take a break from more intense books and enjoy quirky heroines and a story where you can count on a quick happy ending.
