This is a very interesting book. It not only has a plot to follow but helps kids see that a parents love will continually be there to show them true wisdom. It encourages kids to look up words in the dictionary and to learn new words. The plot is about a mysterious black man that shows up at their tree house and is on a mission to set something right. The gang learns how not to judge a book by its cover and how to judge a man by his heart.
Lots of good christian character building in this story. We really enjoyed it.
