Father of six-year-old twins boys, Widower Seth Webster is at his wits end and needs a miracle. She shows up in the form of a heaven-sent housekeeper named Mrs. Merkle. Mrs. Miracle, as the boys call her, dishes out words of wisdom and shares advice about taking risks and letting go of the past. She also hooks Seth up with Reba, a beautiful travel agent who has wounds of her own.
This is a busy book. Not only do we get Seth and Reba who both have problems to overcome; but we also read about Seth's in-laws and the problems in their marriage. This is a nice holiday story that reads very fast. It was also a bit of a tearjerker for me. My rating: 4 Stars.
