After reading all the Andy Carpenter books I was ready for this one for a new series to start, however, I thought this was kind of a mess with too many characters to track, I didn't think the story flowed very smooth and at times was just kind of boring

I felt at times that the MC was based too much on the attitude of Andy and some of it fell flat for me, but I like these characters especially Marcus a man of few words!

I'll continue the series unless it gets stale if the characters don't improve and the stories will have to have some really good tense parts in them to make this series work
