I liked this though I found the first half rather tedious and boring. Not exactly world building but dysfunctional family dynamics. It finally livened up once Reason got to NYC. Then it was a roller coaster ride of fun and fear. I definitely want to know more about Reason and her magic schooling so I will be reading the sequel.
