I love Christopher Golden. He has been writing for a long time. I loved his "80s horror" and at one time I had every book he had ever written.

Now here comes something new from Mr Golden. Still horror but it had the feel of something new, something that had never been attempted, really exciting. It had more intelligence to it.

This book started off very strong, totally sucked me in. It had lots of interesting ideas and played out things I had never imagined before concerning "The Ark" on Mt. Ararat.
This book will deff get you thinking no matter what you believe. Its truth and fiction all wound up and I liked that. Then we get to what seemed like the end of Mr Golden's ideas and here came the cheesy 80s horror again.

The last 80 pages seemed overboard. It felt like the author didn't know what to do with the scenes or the characters. He had a huge opportunity to pull this off. I dont think anyone has written a horror about Ararat, much less involving "The Ark". I mean really? Its a super idea.

Towards the end of the book, it all felt like the old 80s horror again. I was just hoping for more. Then again, we may see this on the Silver-screen. Whos to say?
