A good finale to Gregor's adventures. The tone of the series became increasingly dark as it progressed, with themes of violence (in support of a good cause), the deaths of several sympathetic characters, and a villain with an attitude of "the end justifies the means." These dark themes may affect some younger readers. Gregor's struggles to do the right thing, deal with his feelings, and bravely face a prophecy (that seems to indicate his own death as the "warrior") are well portrayed. The book's ending was bittersweet.
