I LOVE this book! There are so many great wonderful inexpensive (often free) ideas for toddlers. Their play is SERIOUS learning time and this gives them more ways to learn! The spirit of the book has helped me remember that it's okay to get messy! 20mins of good safe play and a ten minute happy clean up is better than 30mins of a kid getting into trouble b/c they are bored and the resulting often longer clean up. I try to plan a handful of things to do each day before I go to bed to have them ready for the next day. Then, whenever I sense the kids need something to do I have an idea all ready to go. LOVE it!
