At the beginning of the book, I found myself frustrated with the mother. The main character, a teenage boy, was so lonely and I just felt so sad for him. As the story unfolds and you come to understand the reason for the mother's reclusive behavior, then your attitude changes about these characters. I shed a few tears at the end, and I am sad that the book is over. That hasn't happened for me in a while.http://www.facebook.com/PaperBackSwap?sk=app_4949752878
