I rememeber the day that Adam Walsh was abducted - and my (now grown) sons grew up - under the umbrella of my fear of what happened to him. But I never read the account until this book. It is a great read (sad & tragic) that John Walsh explains who he was and who he became. I think many people believe he became this mega-star at the expense of his tragedy. But reading who he was - explains how he was always a force - it's just that he had to take another road after Adam's death.
