So, in Chapter 5, one of Brightwell's characters drops a hint and...presto...I knew who the criminal was and also the motive. It was all a very involved charade. Of course, I was proven wrong. But I didn't feel so bad, Mrs. Jeffries was too.

This is yet another entertaining mystery involving Inspector Witherspoon's household. It's a shame about Annie though.
