I think this is the first book I've ever read of Julia James and I liked it. Lizzy Mitchell was just a shadow to her sister's beauty. Yet, when her sister dies Lizzy casts aside her own life to raise her sister's son. Fiercely loving and protecting him as if he were her own.

Rico Ceraldi has just learned, 4 years late, that his younger brother has a son and he's determined to protect him... from paparazzi and from a love-less youth.

The only way to do this is for Rico and Lizzy to marry... and together they find beauty, strength and love.

I enjoyed Rico's honor, his realistic views of his Royal family and his desire for happiness and love. And I was shocked with Lizzy's VERY, VERY poor self-esteem. And in the end scene, she kept belaboring a point when I wanted her to let it go already. But all in all, I enjoyed the writing and the fast-paced story.
