Megan Chase is "The Demon Slayer." Shes a psychic who is also a psychiatrist. She has her own practice, and just started a second job on a radio show where listeners call in, and she helps them slay their "Personal Demons." She also has strange (and sometimes sexy) men following her around town and showing up on her doorstep.

Megan has a dark past, and shes not ready for her sixteen year old self to come crashing back into her yet. She does have the support from a molten hot lover, three brother demons who are ready to kick ass or give her a makeover at a moments notice, a reporter who seems to be out to ruin her career, and a sassy witch with an insatiable hunger for...food.

I loved Stacias take on how Demons work, and the world they come from. Theres no holding back on the fight scenes, they are vivid and bloody (Just how I like em). What stands out most in this book of course are the characters. They pull you in making you want to learn more about them, and stay in their world longer. Megan is not perfect, shes not a super hero, and thats refreshing to read in a world of super powerful women. Now dont read into that the wrong way. She has powers, but not the physical fighting kind. Although, she can hang when entangled with humans.

The only thing that I wish there was more of, was Greyson Dantes past. Hopefully we will learn more about this in future books.

On that note its a good thing there will be a sequel to this in 2009 (Demon Inside), because we shouldnt be denied the hotness that is Greyson Dante, the charm that are Brothers Brown, or the strength that is Megan Chase.
