Sebastian Junger's "War" is a great read. It takes the reader to the front lines, engages them in fire fights and provides insights into what it's really like to serve in combat. Broken down into three books; fear, killing and love, Junger provides psychological, biological and historical research analysis, observations and comments about his own perception of what he has experienced with a platoon of Army soldiers who would risk their own lives for any one of their men.
