This book contains 4 stories that take place in the Black Jewels series (I'll leave my impressions of each story as I finish them).
"Winsol Gifts" takes place after the novel "Tangled Webs". Just a sweet little story about the SaDiablo family getting together for Windsol. 4 Stars.
"Shades of Honor" takes place between "Tangled Webs" and "The Shadow Queen". While the story's main focus is on Surreal, there is a subplot containing Lucivar and how he rules Ebon Rih. 4 Stars.
"Family" is noted as being' ten years later...' I wasn't into it. 3 stars.
"The High Lord's Daughter" is noted by the author as 'A story that spans decades...' After losing two of the most important people of his life, Daemon finally goes back to his duties and gets reacquainted with his family. 4 stars.
