It's a great read, an autobiography about a girl who becomes a writer for Rolling Stone Magazine, and all the rock stars she meets along the way. The best parts of the book are the sections before each chapter where she gives a "How To Interview Someone Famous" vignette. For example, she mentions what subjects and questions to avoid so she won't get "the dreaded pre-rehearsed responses." And how to throw in unexpected questions that throw the star off balance and get them talking: "What was your worse high school job? What day did you see your parents differently?"
It's a fun book that gives insight into a life few of us are allowed to see, with lots of tidbits about everyone in the music world, from Madonna to Dolly Parton to Beyonce.
