This is an older book, but if you happen to be visiting Belize or Mexico in the near future, and want to see the Maya ruins, this book is really helpful. The book came out when "Maya: Treasures of an Ancient Civilization" opened in NYC then traveled the country in 1985. Pictures included and it is great to have a bit of knowledge before visiting any Maya sites. I'd recommend.
