This book has it's good points and bad ones. As the title says it's written about some of history's most notorious badasses. It was interesting to read about a lot of the people I'd never heard about, especially some of the featured women. However I wasn't able to finish the book because his sense of humor and style of writing were a little too much for me. His wording reminds me of a biographer writing with "American Pie" dialogue, and after I'd read words like dick and douche for what seemed like the millionth time I couldn't stomach it anymore.

I did appreciate that he wrote this from a non-traditional, humorist point of view though. His humor wasn't my style, but I think a lot of people will like this book and definitely do recommend it to anyone who enjoys his approach to writing or is just looking for a book that approaches history from another angle.
