I started this book this evening and already I'm skipping parts. I find the stuff about fashion and dressmaking fascinating, but the lustdriven hero is just tiresome; maybe I've read too many "rake/sexual athlete reformed by True Love" plotlines before. The only thing that's carrying this book for me is that Loretta Chase has a smooth and intelligent writing style. I guess I just wish she'd written a different story.
