I liked the stories here much better than the Brooklyn Noir 2 especially and also Brooklyn Noir 1. The writing was much better and although I am from Brooklyn, I could visualize and empathize with them better. Read this one before or instead of the Brooklyn Noirs, that's my recommendation.
