I wanted to like this book. I tried to like this book. I even forced myself to finish it HOPING that it would get better by the end of the book. It didn't and I couldn't.
For starters, the editing was DEPLORABLE. The main character's bird was described as a cocatoo and referred to as a parrot. I let this discrepency go once figuring that mistakes happen but when it happened later in the book within a span of 3 sentences I was totally disgusted.
The story itself could have been good if it didn't sound like something taken straight out of the television show "Fringe". The writing style was amateurish at best and the author obviously hasn't done even a little research into remote viewing and other psychic abilities. Even if the Offspring aren't aware of what they're truly capable of the author definitely should.
I'm not sorry I read the book, but I won't be reading any of the remaining books in the series.
